T1 2017 finished

Well I’ve finished exams and the day after I went to SeaWorld for a Penguin Antarctic Adventure, I was given the opportunity from a friend who used to work at SeaWorld before he left the country. It was an amazing opportunity to go into the penguin enclosure and meet the King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins. Onyx a friendly young male King Penguins allowed me to pat and play with him and Lulu an unpartnered female Gentoo Penguin who bowed to/with me.

At the Australian Bat Clinic my special girl, the nine year old Little Red Flying Fox Dimity had a special little surprise for me. Her new born I named Calico to mirror Dimity’s cloth name. Dimity has been a mother before a seems to be doing a brilliant job and she was even bathing her pup while hanging from me.

My partner and I are going on holiday, driving up to Mackay today. This is the first time I’ve been up that way since I moved to the Gold Coast in January 2015.

Finishing T1 2017

I have just got final exams to complete before T1 is finished, hopefully all goes well. I am seeing the head of school today to finalize the courses for next trimester. I might be doing some fun art courses as electives.

Last week I was knocked off my bike by a car collision, thankfully I was not injured just had a decent shock thanks to wearing a helmet. It took a while to register the accident, just very happy I was able to pick myself up from the road. I ended up walking to uni today which took 36 minutes so not too long.
